EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR ROLE
Who starts CPR, who calls 911, who gets the AED and who meets the ambulance. Your team leaves knowing who does what, so no one freezes.

CPR and Contact Release for Electrical Workers
When someone is being shocked, the first rescuer on scene has seconds to act and can easily become the second victim. This class trains your crew to free a co-worker from an energized source safely, then start CPR and use a defibrillator until help arrives.
The 2027 edition of NFPA 70E calls for an additional person on site during certain energized work, trained in emergency response. That person doesn't have to be an electrician. This class prepares your electricians, helpers and standby personnel for that role.
WHAT YOUR TEAM LEARNS
-
Contact release: shutting off power first, and safe ways to separate a victim from an energized source
-
Adult CPR and defibrillator use, with hands-on practice
-
First aid for electrical burns and shock
-
Calling for help and each person's role in your emergency response plan
CERTIFICATION
American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certificate, valid for two years, plus a training record for the contact release portion.
ANNUAL REFRESHER
A short yearly session that keeps your crew current on contact release between Red Cross renewals. Additional fee for refresher applies.
